Debris in a lagoon on Jenkinson Lake

This was our first hike along the trail the runs around the entire edge of
Jenkinson Lake, near Pollock Pines, California.  At first, it looked like any
other Northern California trail, but quickly revealed a wide variety of
truly stunning and unexpected scenes.  This image was taken at the
banks of a small lagoon which was almost completely covered
by debris washed down from the tributary creeks.
